The Big Ten Network has announced their 2015 prime time football TV schedule. A total of six games were announced that will feature ten Big Ten teams in action.
The schedule kicks off on Saturday, Sept. 12 with Nebraska hosting South Alabama. The following week, Penn State entertains Rutgers in the first conference matchup on BTN.
Overall, the Big Ten Network will televise over 40 football games this season. Typically, most matchups will be announced 6-12 days prior to the game.

Florida International at Indiana on Sept. 12, Pittsburgh at Iowa on Sept. 19 and Ball State at Northwestern on Sept. 26 will also appear in primetime in the Big Ten team’s home market and on Extra Football Game Channels and BTN2Go elsewhere.
Minnesota at Iowa, outside, at night in Iowa City, in November. That will be a brisk one.
Nebraska @ MSU was in early October but it was pretty brutal for not having snow yet.
That’s a heckuva slate of games on the B1G Network. Usually the hors d’oeuvres precede the entrees, but it will be tough for the league games to measure up those tasty non-conference games.
