UTEP Miners announce 2012 football schedule

The UTEP Miners have announced their 2012 football schedule, which features games against Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Wisconsin, Houston, SMU and Southern Miss.

UTEP opens the 2012 season at home against the Oklahoma Sooners on Sept. 1. Other non-conference games for the Miners include at Ole Miss (Sept. 8), vs. New Mexico State (Sept. 15) and at Wisconsin (Sept. 22).

The Miners open 2012 C-USA play on Sept. 29 at East Carolina. The remainder of their conference slate includes vs. SMU (Oct. 6), at Tulsa (Oct. 13), vs. Tulane (Oct. 20), at Houston (Oct. 27), vs. UCF (Nov. 10), at Southern Miss (Nov. 17) and vs. Rice (Nov. 24).

The 2012 C-USA Championship Game will be played on Saturday, Dec. 1 and will be hosted by the team with the highest C-USA winning %.
