The Oregon Ducks have added the Eastern Washington Eagles to their 2015 football schedule, EWU has announced.

Oregon will host Eastern Washington at Autzen Stadium in Eugene on September 5, 2015. The game will be the first ever meeting between the two schools.

Georgia was previously set to travel to Oregon on Sept. 5, 2015, but the two schools agreed to cancel their 2015-16 series back in September 2010.

Eastern Washington won the 2010 FCS National Championship with a 20-19 win over Delaware. In 2011, they finished the season 6-5 and did not qualify for the playoffs.

Oregon is 16-2-2 overall against teams from the Football Championship Subdivision. Their last match-up against an FCS team was in 2010 against Portland State. The Ducks rolled in that game 69-0.

The announcement of this game gives Oregon two non-conference opponents for the 2015 season. The Ducks travel to face the Michigan State Spartans on Sept. 12.

Oregon also needs one game to complete their 2013 and 2014 non-conference schedules. The 2013 season features games at Nevada (Sept. 7) and home vs. Tennessee (Sept. 14), while in 2014 Oregon hosts Wyoming (Sept. 6) and Michigan State (Sept. 13).
