The UCF Knights have added the New Hampshire Wildcats to their 2024 football schedule, FBSchedules.com has learned.
A copy of the football game agreement with the University of Central Florida was obtained from the University of New Hampshire via a state public records request.
UCF will host New Hampshire at FBC Mortgage Stadium in Orlando, Fla., on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2024. The Knights will pay the Wildcats a $350,000 guarantee for playing the game, according to the copy of the contract.
The 2024 UCF-New Hampshire contest will mark the first-ever meeting between the two schools on the gridiron.
New Hampshire is a member of the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS). The Wildcats finished the 2021 season 3-8 overall and 2-6 in CAA action.
UCF now has three non-conference opponents scheduled for the 2024 season. The Knights are scheduled to host the Liberty Flames on Sept. 7 at FBC Mortgage Stadium, but that game could be in limbo due to the Flames joining Conference USA next season. UCF is also scheduled to travel to Gainesville to take on the Florida Gators on Oct. 5.
New Hampshire now has two non-conference opponents scheduled for the 2024 season. The Wildcats are also slated to play at the Holy Cross Crusaders on Sept. 7, 2024.
