The Oregon State Beavers and UTEP Miners have finalized the date for the second game of their home-and-home football series, FBSchedules.com has learned.
UTEP announced in December that it would host Oregon State during the 2026 season. A copy of the contract obtained from the University of Texas at El Paso later confirmed that the Miners will welcome the Beavers to Sun Bowl Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026.
The agreement also included a return game at Reser Stadium in Corvallis, Ore., though the date had not yet been determined.
According to an amendment to the contract obtained from Oregon State University via a state public records request, the Beavers will host the Miners in the second game of the two-game series on Sept. 21, 2030.
The two programs have never met on the gridiron.
The addition of UTEP tentatively completes Oregon State’s non-conference schedule through the 2030 season. The Beavers opened the 2026 campaign with a 33–20 road loss at Houston and will host Texas Tech on Sept. 12 and Montana on Sept. 19 before facing UTEP.
Oregon State’s 2030 slate is currently scheduled to begin with a home matchup against Ole Miss on Aug. 31. The Beavers then travel for consecutive road games at San Jose State (Sept. 7) and Kansas State (Sept. 14) before returning to Corvallis to host UTEP.
UTEP opened its 2026 season with a 51–0 road loss at Oklahoma. After hosting Texas Southern on Saturday, the Miners visit Michigan on Sept. 19 before returning home to face Oregon State.
Oregon State is the first confirmed non-conference opponent on UTEP’s 2030 schedule.
