The North Texas Mean Green have released their 2011 football schedule, which includes games against Alabama, Houston, Indiana, Arkansas State and Louisiana-Lafayette.
UNT opens the 2011 season with a Sun Belt game at Florida International on Thursday, September 1n September 10. Other Sun Belt games for the Mean Green include Florida Atlantic (10/08), at Louisiana-Lafayette (10/15), ULM (10/22), at Arkansas State (10/29), at Troy (11/12), Western Kentucky (11/19) and Middle Tennessee (12/03).
North Texas has a tough non-conference schedule in 2011. The host Houston on September 10, travel to face Alabama on September 17, host Indiana on September 24 and then travel to play Tulsa on October 1.
