The Mississippi State Bulldogs and Oklahoma State Cowboys have scheduled a home-and-home football series for the 2030 and 2031 seasons, according to an official announcement Wednesday.
Mississippi State will open the series on the road, traveling to face Oklahoma State at Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater, Okla., on September 7, 2030. The matchup shifts to Starkville, Miss., the following year, with the Bulldogs set to host the Cowboys at Davis Wade Stadium on September 6, 2031.
Oklahoma State and Mississippi State have met five times, with the Cowboys holding a 3-2 edge in the all‑time series. The programs last faced off in 2013 in the AdvoCare Texas Kickoff in Houston, a 21-3 Oklahoma State victory.
Oklahoma State becomes the second power‑conference opponent on Mississippi State’s future non‑conference slate. The Bulldogs are already set to host Minnesota next season, the return game in a home‑and‑home that opened this year in Minneapolis.
With the addition of the Oklahoma State series, Mississippi State now has two non‑conference opponents locked in for 2030—joining a previously scheduled home game against Troy—and its first confirmed opponent for 2031.
For Oklahoma State, Mississippi State is now the fourth power‑conference foe on the Cowboys’ long‑term schedule, alongside Arkansas (2027, 2032–33), Michigan State (2028–29), and Nebraska (2034–35).
Mississippi State also joins a road trip to Tulsa on Oklahoma State’s 2030 schedule and a home matchup with Tulsa in 2031.
