The final AP Top 25 Poll for the 2020 season has been released, and the Alabama Crimson Tide finishes on top with all 61 first-place votes.

On Monday night, Alabama defeated the third-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes 52-24 to win the College Football Playoff National Championship. The Crimson Tide finished their championship season 13-0 and claimed their sixth title under head coach Nick Saban.

Ohio State moved up one spot from No. 3 to No. 2, even though they lost in the championship game. The Clemson Tigers, which fell to the Buckeyes 49-28 in the Allstate Sugar Bowl, dropped one spot from No. 2 to No. 3.

Texas A&M (No. 4; 9-1), Notre Dame (No. 5; 10-2), and Oklahoma (No. 6; 9-2) round out the top six in the final AP Top 25 Poll.

The No. 8 Cincinnati Bearcats (9-1) finished as the highest ranked team from a Group of Five conference. The Bearcats were defeated by the Georgia Bulldogs, 24-21 in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl. That win moved Georgia up four spots from No. 11 to No. 7.
