The 2018 college football season came to a conclusion Monday night after the Clemson Tigers defeated the Alabama Crimson Tide in the College Football Championship Game.

Clemson finished the season undefeated at 15-0 and became the first team to accomplish that record since Penn back in 1897.

With the 2018 season now complete, the final college football rankings have been released. Clemson moved up to the top spot in both the AP Poll and Coaches Poll, collecting all first-place votes in both polls.

Alabama (14-1) slipped to number two behind Clemson. Ohio State, Oklahoma, and Notre Dame round out the top five in both polls.
