The USF Bulls and Notre Dame Fighting Irish have scheduled a home-and-home football series for 2029 and 2031, both schools announced Monday.
The contests provide the final two dates of a three-game pact that began with a 52-0 Notre Dame decision on Sept. 19, 2020. Ian Book ran for three scores in the tilt. USF won the first outing between the teams, 23-20, in 2011.
The Irish will travel to face off with the Bulls in Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Fla., on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2029 and USF will take the field in Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend, Ind., on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2031. The 2029 contest will mark the first game for the two not played on Notre Dame’s home grass.
Notre Dame marks the first opponent on the 2029 and 2031 slates for USF. The Fighting Irish, conversely, feature non-ACC 2029 contests at Alabama (Sept. 1) and against Navy (TBA), while Florida (Oct. 15) and Navy (TBA) will travel to South Bend for non-league games in 2031.
