The Northwestern Wildcats and the Stanford Cardinal have scheduled a 4-game home-and-home football series beginning in 2019, Northwestern announced today.
Stanford will travel to face Northwestern at Ryan Field in Evanston on September 14, 2019. The Cardinal will host the Wildcats at Stanford Stadium in Pal Alto on September 19, 2020.
The Wildcats will then host the Cardinal on September 18, 2021, followed by the series finale at Stanford Stadium on September 17, 2022.
Stanford leads the overall series with Northwestern 3-1-2. In their last meeting in 1994, the game ended in a 41-41 tie.
The series is the first game scheduled for each school for the 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 seasons.
