The Kansas State Wildcats have added the Buffalo Bulls to their 2020 football schedule, according to a copy of the contract obtained by FBSchedules.com.

Kansas State will host Buffalo at Bill Snyder Family Football Stadium in Manhattan on Sept. 5, 2020. K-State will pay Buffalo a $900,000 guarantee for the game, which will be the first-ever meeting between the two schools.

The game against Buffalo is the first announced non-conference game for Kansas State for the 2020 season. However, ESPN’s Brett McMurphy reported last month that Kansas State and Vanderbilt have agreed to a home-and-home series in 2017 and 2020.

Per Kansas State, a contract for that series has not yet been completed but is close.

FBSchedules.com also obtained a copy of the contract for the Kansas State-Mississippi State football series. The set of games was agreed to last year by K-State athletic director John Currie and MSU athletic director Scott Stricklin using Twitter.

Kansas State will host the first game of the series on Sept. 8, 2018 and will then travel to face Mississippi State on Sept. 14, 2019.
