The Florida Gators and the Florida State Seminoles have extended their football series through the 2018 season, UF announced today.

Although exact dates weren’t announced, expect the two in-state rivals to continue meeting the last week of the regular season. The Gators will host the Seminoles in 2015 (Nov. 28) and 2017 (Nov. 25) and will travel to Tallahassee in 2016 (Nov. 26) and 2018 (Nov. 24).

Florida and Florida State have met every year since the series began on Nov. 22, 1958 in Gainesville. The Gators lead the overall series 34-22-2, but have dropped three of the last four contests.

Florida also announced today that they will host the East Carolina Pirates at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium on Sept. 12, 2015. That game tentatively completes UF’s 2015 non-conference schedule, which also includes New Mexico State, Florida Atlantic, and FSU.
