The Florida A&M Rattlers have announced their fall 2021 football schedule, which features a game at South Florida.
Florida A&M, currently a member of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC), will begin play as a member of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) this fall. FAMU opted out of playing their final season in the SWAC this spring.
The Rattlers will open their fall 2021 season with a SWAC contest against the Jackson State Tigers in the Orange Blossom Classic at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Fla. The game is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 5.
On Saturday, Sept. 11, Florida A&M opens their home schedule at Bragg Memorial Stadium in Tallahassee, Fla., with a non-conference contest against Fort Valley State. The Rattlers then travel to take on the South Florida Bulls on Sept. 18.
Florida A&M returns to Tallahassee for two consecutive home games, one against SWAC member Alabama State on Oct. 2, followed by their final non-conference game of the season on Oct. 9 against South Carolina State.
The Rattlers then play back-to-back road games at Alabama A&M on Oct. 16 and at Mississippi Valley State on Oct. 23.
Florida A&M closes out October on the 30th with a home contest against Grambling State, which will be their Homecoming game. The Rattlers then hit the road again for consecutive games at Southern on Nov. 6 and at Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Nov. 13.
FAMU closes out their 2021 regular-season schedule on Nov. 20 against Bethune-Cookman in the Florida Blue Florida Classic at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Fla.
