College football schedule TV selections for the weekend of October 10, 2026 will be made today. The four power conferences will release their picks, with several Group of Six matchups also expected to be assigned.
A handful of games may be held under the six-day option. If held, those kickoff times and/or TV designations will be finalized on Sunday, Oct. 4. Conferences typically begin rolling out selections around 11:00am ET and continue through roughly 2:00pm ET.

The Red River Rivalry is another game I would like to see at night.
If they were to play Red River Rivalry at night they will have to shut down fair at 8:00PM-8:30PM to protect the public from rowdiness at game.
UT-OU make a great night game.
Fans would behave as well as they do at any other rivalry game.
To suggest otherwise is ridiculous.
