College football rankings for week 5 of the 2020 season have been released. Clemson remains the top-ranked team, while Miami moved into the top 10.

Clemson (2-0), which was off this weekend, remains atop both the AP and Coaches polls. The Tigers received 55 of the 62 first-place votes in the AP Poll and 42 of the 48 first-place votes in the Coaches Poll.

Alabama (1-0), Florida (1-0), Georgia (1-0), and Notre Dame (2-0) round out the Top 5 in both polls.

The six through ten spots in the both polls are also the same: (6) Ohio State, (7) Auburn, (8) Miami, (9) Texas, and (10) Penn State.

The Miami Hurricanes (3-0), which blew out in-state rival Florida State 52-10 on Saturday, jumped four spots in the AP Poll to No. 8 and six spots in the Coaches Poll to No. 8.

Big Ten teams, which return to action on October 24, were included in the Coaches Poll last week and are now back in the AP Poll too. Ohio State is ranked 6th, while Penn State is 10th, Wisconsin 19th, and Michigan 23rd.

Oklahoma, which lost to Kansas State 38-35, dropped to No. 18 in the AP Poll and No. 16 in the Coaches Poll. Defending national champion LSU was upset by Mississippi State at home, 44-34, and fell to No. 20 in the AP Poll and No. 17 in the Coaches Poll.
