College Football Playoff: New Year’s Six bowls set

Earlier today, the College Football Playoff Selection Committee announced the semifinal pairings. No. 1 Alabama will face No. 4 Oklahoma in the Capital One Orange Bowl and No. 2 Clemson will take on No. 3 Notre Dame in the Goodyear Cotton Bowl.

Now the remainder of the “New Year’s Six” bowl games are set, which includes the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, PlayStation Fiesta Bowl, Rose Bowl Game, and Allstate Sugar Bowl.

The Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl will be played on Saturday, Dec. 29 before the first College Football Playoff Semifinal begins. The PlayStation Fiesta Bowl, Rose Bowl Game, and Allstate Sugar Bowl will each be played on New Year’s Day, Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2019.

The College Football National Championship is set for Monday, Jan. 7, 2019 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. The game will be televised by ESPN at 8:00pm ET/5:00pm PT.
