Alabama Near Unanimous No. 1 in Week 4 Polls

After their thrilling 49-42 victory over the Texas A&M Aggies, the Alabama Crimson Tide are a near unanimous No. 1 in both the AP and USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll for Week 4.

Alabama (2-0, 1-0) has 59 of the 60 first place votes in the AP Poll and 61 of the 62 first place votes in the Coaches Poll. Oregon (3-0, 0-0), which thrashed Tennessee 59-14 is 2nd in both polls and got the remaining first place vote in each.

The Top 5 of the AP Poll remains unchanged. Following Alabama and Oregon are Clemson, Ohio State, and Stanford.

In the Coaches Poll, Clemson jumped over Stanford to claim the No. 4 spot. The Top 5 is now Alabama, Oregon, Ohio State, Clemson, and Stanford.

UCLA, Ole Miss, Arizona State, and Texas Tech made the biggest upward moves in the Week 4 polls. UCLA moved up three spots to 13th in the AP and two spots to 15th in the Coaches. Ole Miss jumped four to 21st in the AP and three to 22nd in the Coaches.

Arizona State went from unranked to 23rd in both polls. Texas Tech also entered the AP Poll at 25th but remains unranked in the Top 25 of the Coaches Poll.

In the Coaches Poll, Michigan State and Fresno State also entered the poll at 24th and 25th, respectively.

Nebraska and TCU fell out of both polls, while Wisconsin fell out of the Coaches Poll.
