The 2014 Preseason AP Poll has been released and the Florida State Seminoles top the rankings. FSU received 57 first place votes and 1,496 total points.
Florida State is also ranked first in the Amway Coaches Poll that was released on July 31.
Alabama comes in at number two in the AP Poll. The Crimson Tide received one first place vote and 1,361 points overall. Oregon follows in third place with one first place vote and 1,334 points.
The Oklahoma Sooners, 4th in the rankings, also received one first place vote.
The SEC leads all conferences with eight teams in the AP Top 25 poll. The Pac-12 is second with six teams, followed by the Big Ten with four, Big 12 and ACC with three each. Listed below is the full conference breakdown:
