2012-13 Bowl Schedule Updates

Yesterday essentially marked the end of the regular season in college football, with the Army-Navy game next week as the lone exception.

Now it’s time for bowl season! Match-ups for all 35 games will be announced throughout the day and finalized this evening during the BCS Selection Show.

Bowl updates will be posted below. Our 2012-13 Bowl Schedule will also be updated, and the printable version will be updated when all match-ups are set.

Bowl Schedule Updates

  • Rutgers has accepted an invitation to the Russell Athletic Bowl. Scarlet Knights will reportedly face Virginia Tech.
  • Detroit Free Press reports Michigan to the Outback Bowl.
  • SI reports Nebraska will play in the Capital One Bowl.
  • The Capital One Bowl has officially announced Nebraska as a participant.
  • Northwestern will play in the Gator Bowl, per the Chicago Tribune.
  • Charlotte News-Observer reports that NC State will likely face Vanderbilt in the Music City Bowl.
  • The Outback Bowl has confirmed Michigan will play an SEC team TBA.
  • Cincinnati has officially announced they will play in the Belk Bowl.
  • Purdue has announced they will play in the Heart of Dallas Bowl.
  • Per Jerry Palm, Michigan State to the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl and Minnesota to the Meineke Car Care Bowl of Texas.
  • Sports Illustrated reports that Florida State will face Northern Illinois in the Orange Bowl.
  • Arizona State will face Navy in the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl.
  • Sports Illustrated reports Oregon will face Kansas State in the Fiesta Bowl.
  • Syracuse has accepted a bid to the Pinstripe Bowl.
  • Sports Illustrated reports Florida-Louisville in the Sugar Bowl.
  • Georgia will play in the Capital One Bowl vs. Nebraska and Mississippi State will play in the Gator Bowl vs. Northwestern.
  • Baylor to the Holiday Bowl.
  • Michigan will face South Carolina in the Outback Bowl.
  • UCF to face Ball State in St. Pete Beef O’Brady’s Bowl.
  • West Virginia will face Syracuse in the Pinstripe Bowl.
  • UCF will play Ball State in the Beef ‘O’ Brady’s Bowl.
  • The Chick-fil-A Bowl will feature Clemson vs. LSU, according to tweets from players.
  • Baylor will take on UCLA in the Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl.
  • Arkansas State to the GoDaddy.com Bowl, and Western Kentucky to the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl.
  • Texas will play Oregon State in the Alamo Bowl.
  • Ohio will meet ULM in the Independence Bowl.
  • Toledo to the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl to play Utah State.
