The Western Michigan Broncos have added the Delaware State Hornets to their 2018 football schedule, according to their official website.
Western Michigan will host Delaware State at Waldo Stadium in Kalamazoo on Sept. 15, 2018. The game will be the first-ever meeting between the two schools on the gridiron.
The Broncos are scheduled to open the 2018 season at home against the Syracuse Orange. The game is the first of a home-and-home series that concludes at the Carrier Dome on Sept. 21, 2019.
On Sept. 8, Western Michigan travels to take on the Michigan Wolverines in Ann Arbor. The Broncos are 0-6 all-time against Michigan.
WMU’s final non-conference game of the 2018 season is on Sept. 22 at the Georgia State Panthers. This game is also the first of a home-and-home series that finishes up in Atlanta on Sept. 14, 2019.
In MAC play in 2018, Western Michigan is scheduled to host Eastern Michigan, Northern Illinois, Toledo, and Ohio and travel to Ball State, Central Michigan, Bowling Green, and Miami (Ohio).
