Virginia Tech opens the 2012 season with an ACC contest on Labor Day at home against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (Mon., Sept. 3; 8:00 p.m. ET; ESPN).
The Hokies continue their 2012 slate with four consecutive non-conference games. Tech hosts Austin Peay on Sept. 8, travels to face Pittsburgh on Sept. 15 and hosts Bowling Green on Sept. 22. Finally, the Hokies face Cincinnati at FedEx Field in Landover, MD on Sept. 29.
Virginia Tech resumes ACC play on Oct. 6 at North Carolina. The rest of their ACC slate includes vs. Duke (Oct. 13), at Clemson (Oct. 20), at Miami (Thurs., Nov. 1; ESPN), vs. Florida State (Thurs., Nov. 8; ESPN) and at Boston College (Nov. 17). The Hokies close the 2012 regular season at Lane Stadium against in-state rival Virginia on Nov. 24.
The 2012 ACC Championship Game will be played on Saturday, Dec. 1 at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, NC.
