The UT Martin Skyhawks will play at the Tennessee Volunteers in 2022 and at the Georgia Bulldogs in 2023, according to UTM’s official athletics website.
UT Martin will travel to take on Tennessee at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, Tenn., on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2022. The game will mark the second meeting between the two schools on the gridiron.
In their first and only contest back in 2010 in Knoxville, Tennessee defeated UT Martin 50-0.
Tennessee is the third scheduled non-conference opponent for UT Martin in 2022, which completes their schedule. The Skyhawks are also scheduled to host Western Illinois on Sept. 1 and travel to Missouri State on Sept. 10.
The addition of UT Martin completes Tennessee’s non-conference schedule for the 2022 season. The Volunteers are scheduled to open the season at home against Ball State on Sept. 3 and later travel to Pitt on Sept. 10 before hosting Army on Sept. 17.
Georgia will host UT Martin at Dooley Field at Sanford Stadium in Athens, Ga., on Saturday, Sept. 2, 2023. The game will mark the first-ever meeting between the two schools on the gridiron.
With the addition of UT Martin, Georgia has completed their 2023 non-conference slate. The Bulldogs are also scheduled to play at Oklahoma on Sept. 9, host UAB on Sept. 23, and visit in-state rival Georgia Tech on Nov. 25.
UT Martin has also completed their 2023 non-conference schedule. After opening at Georgia, the Skyhawks are slated to host Missouri State on Sept. 9 and travel to take on Samford on Nov. 18.
