The USF Bulls have announced their 2012 football schedule, which features games against Florida State, Miami (FL), Nevada, Cincinnati, Louisville and Pittsburgh.
South Florida opens the 2012 season at home on Sept. 1 against the Chattanooga Mocs. The following week, USF travels to face the Nevada Wolf Pack of the MWC.
The Bulls open Big East play on Sept. 15 at home against Rutgers. The date of that game could be changed to Thursday, Sept. 13 or Friday, Sept. 14 to accommodate television.
USF then steps out of conference to play at Ball State on Sept. 22 before returning home to host the Florida State Seminoles on Sept. 29. USF’s final non-conference game is on Nov. 24 at the Miami Hurricanes.
The remainder of South Florida’s Big East schedule includes at Temple (Oct 6), at Louisville (Oct. 20), vs. Syracuse (Oct. 27), vs. Connecticut (Nov. 3) and at Cincinnati (Fri., Nov. 23; ABC/ESPN TBA). USF finishes the 2012 regular season at home against Pittsburgh on Dec. 1 (ABC/ESPN TBA).
