The UMass Minutemen and the Vanderbilt Commodores have finalized their four-game home-and-home football series, Tennessean.com has reported.
The first game will be played at Vanderbilt Stadium in Nashville on October 27, 2012. It will be the first ever meeting between the two schools and the first for UMass against a school from the SEC.
On September 21, 2013, UMass will host Vanderbilt at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough. The third game will be played in Nashville on October 4, 2014.
The Minutemen will host the final game of the series on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Gillette Stadium.
UMass is currently a member of the Colonial Athletic Association in the Football Championship Subdivison (FCS). They will play a full MAC schedule in 2012 and will be eligible for the MAC Championship Game and bowls beginning with the 2013 season.
