The UC Davis Aggies have released their 2020 football schedule, which features games at Nevada and San Jose State.

UC Davis will open the 2020 season in Week Zero on the road against the Nevada Wolf Pack on Saturday, Aug. 29. This game is eligible to be played in Week Zero because Nevada plays at Hawaii in 2020.

The Aggies will host the San Diego Toreros in their home-opener at Aggie Stadium in Davis, Calif., on Sept. 5. This contest was previously unreported.

UC Davis hits the road again on Sept. 12 to face the San Jose State Spartans, which closes out the non-conference portion of their 2020 schedule. After their first open date on Sept. 19, the Aggies travel to take on the Weber State Wildcats in their Big Sky Conference opener on Sept. 26.

The remainder of UC Davis’ 2020 football schedule is also Bog Sky action that alternates between home and away contests — vs. Idaho (Oct. 3), at Idaho State (Oct. 10), vs. Northern Colorado (Oct. 17), at Cal Poly (Oct. 24), vs. Eastern Washington (Oct. 31), at Northern Arizona (Nov. 7), and vs. Sacramento State (Nov. 21).

The Aggies’ second and final open date of the season is Nov. 14. They have two open dates in 2020 due to playing in Week Zero, one week earlier than most teams.

UC Davis lost consecutive games vs. Montana State, 27-17, and at Sacramento State, also 27-17, to finish the 2019 season 5-7 overall and 3-5 in conference play.
