The Texas Longhorns have announced their 2012 football schedule, which features games against Ole Miss, Kansas State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, TCU and West Virginia.
Texas opens the 2012 season at home on Sept. 1 against the Wyoming Cowboys. UT then hosts New Mexico on Sept. 8 before closing out the non-conference portion of their schedule on Sept. 15 at Ole Miss.
The Longhorns begin conference play on Sept. 29 against the Oklahoma State Cowboys. Then on Oct. 6, the West Virginia Mountaineers visit Austin.
The following week (Oct. 13), Texas meets Oklahoma in the AT&T Red River Rivalry at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas.
Texas hosts Baylor on Oct. 20 before heading out for road games at Kansas on Oct. 27 and Texas Tech on Nov. 3. The Longhorns return home to host Iowa State on Nov. 10 before enjoying an open date on Nov. 17.
Big 12 newcomer TCU visits Austin on Nov. 24. Texas closes out the 2012 regular season on Dec. 1 in Manhattan against Kansas State.
