Tennessee announces 2011 football schedule

The Tennessee Volunteers have announced their 2011 football schedule, which features games against Cincinnati, Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, LSU and South Carolina.

Tennessee will open the 2011 season at home on September 3 against Montana, followed by another home game against Cincinnati on September 10.

The Volunteers travel to face Florida on September 17 before an open date (09/24) and a visit from Buffalo on October 1.

Tennessee then plays four straight SEC games: Georgia (10/08), LSU (10/15), at Alabama (10/22), South Carolina (10/29).

After their final non-conference game against Middle Tennessee (11/05), the Vols close the 2011 season at Arkansas (11/12), home against Vanderbilt (11/19) and at Kentucky (11/26).

The 2011 SEC Championship game will be played on Saturday, December 3 at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.
