The Stetson Hatters will host the Warner Royals in 2021, according to the official athletics website of Warner University.
Stetson will host Warner at Spec Martin Stadium in DeLand, Fla., on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2021. The game will mark the fourth meeting between the two schools on the gridiron.
Stetson and Warner first met on the gridiron in 2013 in DeLand. In their most recent matchup in 2016, the Hatters defeated the Royals 30-15 to extend their unbeaten record in the series to 3-0.
Stetson competes in the Pioneer Football League (PFL) in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS), while Warner plays in the Sun Conference in the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA).
Warner is the third and final non-conference opponent for Stetson’s fall 2021 football schedule. The Hatters are also scheduled to host the Ave Maria Gyrenes on Saturday, Sept. 11 and travel to face the Princeton Tigers on Saturday, Sept. 25.
Although Stetson has not officially announced their fall 2021 schedule, it is now tentatively complete.
