The Pittsburgh Panthers have announced their 2011 football schedule, which features games against Iowa, Notre Dame, Utah, Cincinnati, Rutgers and West Virginia.
Pitt will open the 2011 season with back-to-back home games against Buffalo (9/3) and Maine (9/10). The Panthers will then travel to Iowa City to take on Iowa at Kinnick Stadium (09/17). Pitt returns home to face Notre Dame on September 24 and closes out their non-conference schedule on October 15 at home against the Utah Utes.
The Panthers begin Big East play at home against USF on Thursday, October 29, followed by a road game at Rutgers on October 8. The Panthers host Connecticut (Wed. 10/26) and Cincinnati (11/5) in back-to-back weeks.
Pitt will then have back-to-back road games at Louisville (11/12) and the Backyard Brawl at West Virginia (11/25). The Panthers will close the 2011 season hosting Syracuse on December 3.
