The Northwestern Wildcats and the Stanford Cardinal have scheduled a 2015-16 home-and-home football series, Northwestern announced today.
Northwestern will host Stanford at Ryan Field in Evanston on Sept. 5, 2015. The Wildcats will travel to face the Cardinal at Stanford Stadium on Sept. 24, 2016.
Last year, the two schools announced a 4-game home-and-home series that will take place between 2019 and 2022. The Wildcats and the Cradinal will meet in Evanston in 2019 and 2012 and in Stanford in 2020 and 2022.
The 2015 game will rekindle a series that hasn’t been played since the two teams tied 41-41 in 1994. Stanford leads the overall series 3-1-2.
