The Michigan Wolverines have added games against Arkansas, BYU, Hawaii, Miami (OH), and Ball State to their future football schedules, the school announced today.
Michigan will play the Arkansas Razorbacks in a home-and-home series beginning in 2018 at Michigan Stadium (Sept. 1) and culminating in 2019 at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium (Aug. 31). Both games will be season openers.
The Wolverines and Razorbacks met for the first and only time in the 1999 CompUSA Florida Citrus Bowl. Michigan won 45-31.
Michigan has completed their 2015 football schedule with the addition of a home game against the BYU Cougars on Sept. 26. It will be BYU’s first ever trip to the “Big House” and second meeting with Michigan overall. BYU beat Michigan 24-17 in the 1984 Holiday Bowl in San Diego.
As a result of adding BYU on Sept. 26, Michigan has moved their 2015 games against Oregon State to Sept. 12 (from Sept. 19) and UNLV to Sept. 19 (from Sept. 26). The Wolverines open the 2015 season at Utah on Thursday, Sept. 3.
The Wolverines have also completed ther 2016 football schedule with the addition of non-conference games against Hawaii (Sept. 3), Miami, OH (Sept. 10) and Ball State (Sept. 24). Michigan previously announced they would host the Colorado Buffaloes on Sept. 17.
