The Miami RedHawks will play at the Kentucky Wildcats in 2022, FBSchedules.com has learned.

Miami will travel to take on Kentucky at Kroger Field in Lexington on Sept. 3, 2022. The RedHawks will receive a $1.4 million guarantee for the game, according to a copy of the contract obtained from Miami University via an open records request.

Miami and Kentucky have met 13 times on the gridiron. In their last meeting in 2013, the Wildcats defeated the RedHawks 41-7 in Lexington to extend their series lead to 8-4-1.

The RedHawks now have two non-conference games scheduled for the 2022 season. Also on the slate is a trip to Northwestern on Sept. 17.

Miami is the first scheduled non-conference opponent for Kentucky for that season.

In SEC play in 2022, Kentucky is scheduled to host Georgia, South Carolina, Vanderbilt, and Mississippi State and travel to Florida, Missouri, Tennessee, and Ole Miss.
