The Miami (OH) RedHawks have completed their 2012 non-conference football schedule, the school announced today.
Miami completed their schedule with the addition of a home game against the Southern Illinois Salukis on Sept. 8, 2012. The game will be the first ever meeting between the two schools.
The RedHawks were previously slated to host Missouri in 2012. But since the Tigers moved to the SEC, they had to cancel their matchup.
Southern Illinois was also slated to visit Missouri on Sept. 8. That game was also canceled which enabled Miami and Southern Illinois to play on that date. No word yet on whether Missouri facilitated this agreement.
