The Mercer Bears have announced their fall 2021 football schedule, which includes five home games at Five Star Stadium in Macon, Ga.
“The enthusiasm for Mercer football is at an all-time high,” said Mercer Associate AD Daniel Tate. “With the success that Drew Cronic had this spring, we have seen it translate into fans excited about the fall and purchasing season tickets at an all-time high.”
Mercer opens the 2021 season at home against Point University on Thursday, Sept. 2. The Bears then travel to take on the Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday, Sept. 11 to wrap up non-conference action.
Mercer opens Southern Conference (SoCon) action on Sept. 25 on the road against Furman. Other road SoCon games include Western Carolina (Oct. 9), The Citadel (Oct. 30), and ETSU (Nov. 20).
The Bears will host SoCon foes Samford (Oct. 2), VMI (Oct. 16), Wofford (Oct. 23), and Chattanooga (Nov. 13).

Mercer finished the spring 2021 football season 4-2 in SoCon action. Games against Wofford and Chattanooga were canceled and not rescheduled.
