There was little movement at the top of the Week 9 college football polls. Alabama remains the top team in all three polls and is the unanimous number one in the Coaches Poll.
South Carolina fell out of the Top 10 in all three polls after their 44-11 loss at Florida. The Gamecocks are now 17th in the AP and 16th in the Coaches and Harris Poll.
USC was the beneficiary of South Carolina’s fall. They moved up to 8th in the Coaches Poll, 9th in the Harris, and 10th in the AP. Oregon State also moved into the Top 10 (9th) in the Coaches Poll.
The Top 5 of the AP and Harris Poll remains unchanged. Alabama is number one, followed by Oregon, Florida, Kansas State, and Notre Dame.
In the Coaches Poll, Florida jumped over Kansas State into 3rd place. The Coaches Top 5 is now Alabama, Oregon, Florida, Kansas State, and Notre Dame. The full polls are listed below.
