The 2012 Kentucky at Louisville game has been moved to Sunday, Sept. 2 and will be televised by ESPN at 3:30 p.m. ET, both schools announced today.
The game will be played at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium and is the season-opener for both schools. This will be the seventh time that the Kentucky-Louisville game has been played on a Sunday.
Kentucky and Louisville have met 24 times in their history. The Wildcats lead the overall series 14-10. Last season, Louisville won 24-17 in Lexington.
Both schools are currently in the midst of spring practice. Louisville plays their Spring game on Saturday, Apr. 14 at 1:00 p.m. ET while Kentucky’s game is Saturday, Apr. 21 at 6:00 p.m. ET.
