The Indiana Hoosiers have added the Old Dominion Monarchs to their 2025 football schedule, it was announced on Wednesday.
Indiana will host Old Dominion at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington, Ind., on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2025. The game will mark the first-ever meeting between the two schools on the gridiron.
With the addition of Old Dominion, Indiana has completed their non-conference schedule for the 2025 season. The Hoosiers will also play host to the Louisville Cardinals on Sept. 6 and the Indiana State Sycamores on Sept. 13 that season.
“Our program is excited to get another opportunity to prove ourselves on a national stage. I have an enormous amount of respect for Coach Allen and his staff, and we look forward to the challenge we will face in Bloomington,” ODU head coach Ricky Rahne said.
Indiana is the second scheduled non-conference opponent for Old Dominion for the 2025 season. The Monarchs are also scheduled to travel to play the Virginia Tech Hokies on Sept. 13.
The Indiana Hoosiers are scheduled to open the fall 2021 season on Saturday, Sept. 4 with a Big Ten Conference contest on the road against the Iowa Hawkeyes. Old Dominion opens their slate one day prior on Friday, Sept. 3 at the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.
