The Idaho State Bengals have announced their 2020 football schedule, which includes five home contests.

Idaho State opens the 2020 season in Week Zero on Saturday, Aug. 29 on the road in Albuquerque, N.M., against the New Mexico Lobos. The Bengals continue their two-game road set the following week with a game in Fresno, Calif., against the Fresno State Bulldogs on Sept. 5.

The Northern Iowa Panthers visit Holt Arena in Pocatello, Idaho, to kick off Idaho State’s home schedule on Sept. 12. That’s followed by an open date on Sept. 19 and then a visit from the Sacramento State Hornets on Sept. 26 to begin Big Sky Conference action. The Sacramento State game is also Homecoming weekend for Idaho State.

Idaho State returns to the road on Oct. 3 when they visit the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks before they head back home to Pocatello to host the UC Davis Aggies on Oct. 10.

The Bengals then travel for consecutive road contests at the Portland State Vikings on Oct. 17 and at the Montana State Bobcats on Oct. 24.

Idaho State hosts the Weber State Wildcats at Holt Arena on Oct. 31, which is followed by ISU’s second and final open date of the season on Nov. 7. ISU has two open dates in 2020 since they open the season in Week Zero, one week earlier than most teams.

Games on the road at the Cal Poly Mustangs on Nov. 14 and at home against the Idaho Vandals on Nov. 21 close out the 2020 regular-season schedule for the Bengals. Below is Idaho State’s complete schedule for the 2020 season:
