The Grambling State Tigers have announced their 2020 football schedule, which include three neutral-site contests.
Grambling State opens the 2020 season in the MEAC/SWAC Challenge against the South Carolina State Bulldogs on Sunday, Sept. 6, at Georgia State Stadium in Atlanta, Ga. The following week on Saturday, Sept. 12, Grambling State travels to take on the South Alabama Jaguars, their first of two consecutive Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) foes.
Next up for the Tigers is a trip to take on the UTSA Roadrunners on Sept. 19. Grambling State then travels to take on the Prairie View A&M Panthers on Sept. 26 in the annual State Fair Classic at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas, which will be their first Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) contest of the season.
On Saturday, Oct. 3, Grambling hosts the Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils in their first home contest at Eddie Robinson Stadium in Grambling, La. Grambling then travels to face the Alcorn State Braves on Oct. 10 before returning home to host the Alabama State Hornets for Homecoming on Oct. 17.
After an open date on Oct. 24, Grambling travels to face the Texas Southern Tigers on Oct. 31 before welcoming the Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions to Eddie Robinson Stadium on Nov. 7.
The Tigers then travel to face the Alabama A&M Bulldogs on Nov. 14 before their second and final open date of the season on Nov. 21. Grambling State closes out the 2020 regular-season on Nov. 28 against the Southern Jaguars in the annual Bayou Classic at Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, La.
The 2020 SWAC Championship Game is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 5 at a site to be announced.
