The Davidson Wildcats have released their 2020 football schedule, which includes six home contests.
Davidson opens the 2020 season with back-to-back contests on the road, beginning on Saturday, Sept. 5 at Campbell. The Wildcats then visit Valparaiso on Sept. 12, which is their first Pioneer Football League (PFL) contest of the season.
Davidson opens their home schedule at Richardson Stadium in Davidson, N.C., on Sept. 19 when they host Barton College of Division II, which will be playing their first season in 2020. Middle Georgia State, a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), visits Davidson the following week on Sept. 26.
PFL action for Davidson resumes on Oct. 3 when the Wildcats take on Morehead State at Richardson Stadium. The Wildcats then travel for consecutive games at Marist on Oct. 10 and, after an open date, at Drake on Oct. 24.
Davidson returns home to host Butler on Oct. 31 before traveling west to take on San Diego on Nov. 7. The Wildcats close out their regular-season schedule with back-to-back home games against Stetson on Nov. 14 and Dayton on Nov. 21.
The Davidson Wildcats finished the 2019 season 8-4 overall and 5-3 in conference action.
