The Davidson Wildcats have announced their 2019 football schedule, which includes seven home contests.
Dayton opens the 2019 season with three consecutive non-conference games at home at Richardson Stadium in Davidson, North Carolina, beginning with the Georgetown Hoyas on Saturday, Aug. 31.
The Virginia-Lynchburg Dragons visit Richardson Stadium on Sept. 7, and they are followed by the West Virginia Wesleyan Bobcats on Sept. 14. Both of these contests were previously unknown.
Davidson closes out the non-conference portion of their 2019 schedule on Sept. 21 with a contest at the Campbell Camels.
After an open date on Sept. 28, Davidson kicks off Pioneer Football League action on the road in Morehead, Kentucky, against the Morehead State Eagles on Oct. 5.
Davidson returns home to host the San Diego Toreros on Oct. 12 before heading out to face the Jacksonville Dolphins on Oct. 19.
Next up are back-to-back home contests at Richardson Stadium. The Marist Red Foxes visit Davidson on Oct. 26, followed by the Valparaiso Crusaders on Nov. 2.
Davidson then travels for consecutive road contests at the Butler Bulldogs on Nov. 9 and at the Stetson Hatters on Nov. 16 before closing out the regular-season at home on Nov. 23 against the Drake Bulldogs.
Davidson finished the 2018 season 6-5 overall anf 3-5 in Pioneer Football League play.
