Dallas Football Classic gets sponsor, renamed TicketCity Bowl

The Dallas Football Classic, a new bowl game that was approved last April, has acquired TicketCity as their new sponsor. The game will now be called the TicketCity Bowl.

The TicketCity Bowl features the No. 6 team from the Big Ten against a team from either the Big 12 or Conference USA. The game will be played at the Cotton Bowl Stadium in Dallas, Texas on January 1, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. ET. It is the first game to start on New Year’s Day.

The game replaces the Cotton Bowl Classic, which moved to Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
