College football rankings for week 3 of the 2020 season have been released. Clemson remains the top-ranked team, while ten teams entered the rankings.

Clemson, which defeated Wake Forest 37-13 on the road, remains atop both the AP and Coaches polls. The Tigers received 60 of the 61 first-place votes in the AP Poll and 37 of the 41 first-place votes in the Coaches Poll.

Alabama, Oklahoma, and Georgia round out the top four in both polls. Florida is fifth in the AP and sixth in the Coaches, while LSU is fifth in the Coaches and sixth in the AP.

Teams that are not playing this fall, or at least yet, were removed from the rankings, such as Ohio State, USC, and others. Iowa State, which fell to Louisiana 31-14, was the only team to fall out of the rankings that played this week.

That allowed 10 teams to vault into both the AP and Coaches polls from the land of the unranked. Leading the way are the Memphis Tigers, who are now ranked 16th in the AP Poll and 15th in the Coaches Poll following their 37-24 win over last weekend.
