College football rankings: Week 15, 2020

College football rankings for week 15 of the 2020 season have been released. Alabama remains the top-ranked team, while Coastal Carolina moved up to No. 11 in the AP Poll.

Alabama retained their hold on the top spot following their 55-17 victory on the road over the LSU Tigers. Notre Dame remains in second place after defeating Syracuse at home, 45-21.

Ohio State remained third in the AP Poll and fourth in the Coaches Poll following their 52-12 win at Michigan State. Clemson won on the road at Virginia Tech, 45-10, and held at third in the Coaches Poll and fourth in the AP Poll.

Texas A&M and Florida both won on Saturday, but the Aggies jumped the Gators in the Coaches Poll and are now fifth in both polls while Florida is sixth.

The Coastal Carolina Chanticleers (10-0) scheduled then AP No. 8 BYU and defeated the Cougars 22-17. The win moved the Chanticleers up three spots to No. 11 in the AP Poll and up one spot to No. 13 in the Coaches Poll.

Marshall (15), Oklahoma State (19), Oregon (21), and Washington (23) each dropped out of both polls following their losses in Week 14.

Cincinnati is currently the highest-ranked non-power conference team at No. 7. The next closest team is Coastal Carolina at No. 11.
