College Football Playoff rankings for Oct. 31 released

The first College Football Playoff Rankings of the 2017 season have been released by the selection committee, and Georgia opens in first place.

Georgia is followed by (2) Alabama, (3) Notre Dame, and (4) Clemson. Just outside the top four are (5) Oklahoma, (6) Ohio State, (7) Penn State, and (8) TCU.

UCF (18th) is currently the highest ranked team from a Group of Five conference. Check out the full CFP Top 25 rankings below.
