The Clemson Tigers and Oklahoma State Cowboys will play a home-and-home football series in 2019 and 2020, AikenStandard.com has reported. Exact dates were not announced.
The series would be the first ever games between the two schools. Clemson is 7-10 overall against teams from the Big 12 while Oklahoma State is 2-5 versus the ACC.
Oklahoma State is the third BCS conference opponent for Clemson on their future schedule, not including their yearly in-state rivalry game with South Carolina. The Tigers face the Georgia Bulldogs in a home-and-home series in 2013-14 and then the Ole Miss Rebels in 2015-16.
The Cowboys have several non-conference games slated out to 2020, but Clemson now becomes one of the biggest. OSU does travel to Arizona to open the 2012 season and has a home-and-home schedule with Air Force in 2015-16.
