The Cincinnati Bearcats and the Georgia State Panthers will each host the UT Martin Skyhawks in 2016, according to UTM’s official website.
Cincinnati will host UT Martin at Nippert Stadium in Ohio to open the 2016 season on Sept. 3. Seven weeks later on Oct. 22, Georgia State will host the Skyhawks at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.
Cincinnati and Georgia State will each be facing UT Martin for the first time on the gridiron.
UT Martin is a member of the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) and competes in the Ohio Valley Conference. The Skyhawks finished the 2014 season 6-6 overall (5-3 OVC).
The addition of UT Martin tentatively completes Cincinnati’s 2016 non-conference schedule. The Bearcats are also scheduled to visit Purdue (Sept. 10) and host Miami, OH (Sept. 24) and BYU (Nov. 12).
UT Martin also gives Georgia State four non-conference games for the 2016 season. The Panthers are also slated to host Ball State (Sept. 1 or 2) and travel to Air Force (Sept. 10) and Wisconsin (Sept. 17).
