After crushing then No. 3 Clemson 51-14, the Florida State Seminoles have moved up two spots to third in both the AP Poll and USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll for Week 9. Alabama and Oregon remained first and second in both polls.
Clemson fell from third in the AP to ninth and from fourth to tenth in the Coaches Poll. Ohio State dropped one spot in the Coaches Poll to fourth and remained in the same position in the AP.
Teams that moved into the Top Ten include Missouri (5th AP, 7th Coaches), Baylor (6th AP, 5th Coaches), Miami (6th Coaches), Stanford (8th AP and Coaches), and Texas Tech (10th AP, 9th Coaches).
UCLA, LSU, Texas A&M, and Louisville each dropped out of the Top Ten in the AP Poll and Coaches Poll, while South Carolina dropped out of the Top Ten in the Coaches Poll.
Auburn made a huge jump in the polls after their big 45-41 win at Texas A&M. The Tigers moved up 13 spots to 11th in the AP Poll and went from unranked to 17th in the Coaches Poll.
Teams entering the polls this week include Auburn (17th Coaches), UCF (21st AP, 25th Coaches), Michigan (24th AP), and Nebraska (25th AP).
Florida, Georgia, and Washington fell out of both polls after losing this weekend.
