The Big 12, Mountain West and WAC future football schedules have been updated. Updates reflect the recent conference changes by Boise State, Colorado, Nebraska and Utah.
Boise State is heading to the Mountain West in July of 2011. From 2011 forward, their WAC opponents have been removed from their schedules, and Boise State has been removed from all of the WAC future schedules. The Broncos won’t be added to any Mountain West schedules until the conference announces their new scheduling format.
Colorado will join the Pac-10 in 2012, but may be able to get in by the 2011 season. The Buffaloes have been removed from the future Big 12 football schedules. They will be added to the Pac-10 schedules once the conference decides on their new scheduling format, which could follow the SEC’s 12-team format.
Nebraska is also leaving the Big 12 and will join the Big Ten in July of 2011. The Cornhuskers have been removed from all of the 2011 and forward Big 12 football schedules. The Big Ten, which now has 12 teams, has yet to make an announcement on their future scheduling format.
Utah is leaving the Mountain West for the Pac-10 in 2011. The Utes have been removed from the Mountain West future schedules and will be added to the Pac-10 schedules once an announcement has been made.
